This patient had had bilateral cleft lip surgery done as a youngster. He presented for revision surgery as an adult. An Abbe flap was performed to reconstruct his central upper lip. This is a two-stage procedure which borrows tissue from the lower lip to rebuild the upper lip after the scar in the upper lip has been removed.
