This patient had silicone injected into her lips by another physician. She complained of excessively full and stiff lips. Careful removal of the silicone with a lip reduction was used to restore the proper dimension and suppleness of her lips.
The lip lift shortens the distance from the nose to the bottom of the upper lip. This results in a fuller upper lip and a more youthful appearance showing the teeth with the lips relaxed.
