Skin Cancer Photos - Case #2183

This patient had a biopsy of a lesion that turned out to be a malignant skin cancer. Immediate total removal of all nasal skin was necessary to control the cancer. As a temporizing solution, a skin graft was placed on the nasal skin to allow the child to grow to an age where a definitive forehead flap could be performed. At three years of age the patient underwent a two stage forehead flap for total nasal reconstruction.
